As part of the Arts and Culture Services Unit, the role is responsible for facility management, renewal, security, cleaning, maintenance and IT system contract management across all Kingston Arts facilities.

The role

We are seeking a Coordinator Systems and Operations to join the Kingston Arts team. Reporting to the Head of Production and Operations, your role is to:

  • Provide efficient and effective overall coordination of operations at facilities managed by Arts & Cultural Services to ensure a high standard of service provision and well operated facilities.
  • Be the key contact for the major software partners that support operations for Arts and Culture and internal service IT requirements.
  • Manage the security systems for Kingston Arts facilities to ensure Council assets are always secure.
  • Manage OHS, risk and emergency management across the facilities.

About you

You will have:

  • Formal qualifications in facilities management or other relevant discipline, or substantial relevant experience gained in a role/field relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in facility operations in arts, cultural or hospitality venues.
  • Extensive contract management experience.
  • Substantial experience managing OHS and risk from a facilities / operational management standpoint. Previously holding the role of Chief Fire Warden and or Health and Safety Representative an advantage.
  • Proven experience managing software partners externally and internal IT service providers with a track record of improving technological systems and processes.
